Hey guys, I just came to HI cause I see a lot of post about them. After reading Bills philosophy, and purpose for creating HI, I will be purchasing a khukuri very soon. Looks like a chiruwa ak will be my first. Thanks for helping to feed my knife addiction, and a noble cause supporting theses kamis.

The CAK is a good staring point. Once you find one that fits your hand and is the perfect weight/length for you, i think you'll find it's all the woods, camp, trail, bush blade you will ever need.
 
Not that that will stop you from wanting and buying 6 more so you have a selection to choose from. Resistance is futile.
 
Hard not to love these tools. Reliable workhorses, works of art, cultural lore and martial legend in one package.

And they're friggin' just plain cool.

True that but I'm still a poor noob myself, so at this point 6 is still a landmark. One to go and then I guess I'll have to set a new landmark. Reckon 12 would be enough? Or should I skip that since I know it can't be and go to 18?

Hello my name is bawanna and I'm a kuhkaholic. Not even in step 1.

Wish Karda would do the sword drawing the suspense is killing me, course if my some miracle I win, that would be 6 and we're off to the next landmark, is that a good thing? or a bad thing?
 
Thanks guys, yeah I'm pretty much in trouble. The more I look the more I like. Chin ak first, gelbu second, maybe a kobra third. Lol at least my wife already knows I'm an addict. Just a slightly new addiction I guess.
 
Check out the LVK's. Great deal on great working tools if you're looking for a dedicated user. I retired my C.S. Trailmaster and Becker Brute when I got mine. KV
 
I just recently bought a farm knife by Tirtha. Before that, an Ang Khola.
Next up I'm keeping an eye out for a bonecutter or Ganga Ram.
Sucker for big choppers I guess :P
