Have a 25, awaiting a 21. Questioning whether the two have identical/similar blade profiles? Difficult to tell by online comparison photos, but looks like the 21 is slightly pointier, and the 25 more elliptical.

What say ye, CRK experts? Will of course, check when the 21 arrives, but other Newb's may also want this info. Thanks in advance for the replies...;-)

How about a pic, so you can see for yourself.
Top - 21
Middle - 25
Bottom - Umnumzaan

Thanks Ajack60. Appears that the 21's top has both less of a hump, and a different angle of slope than the 25. Think I like the profile of the 25 better. And the knife looks beefier. Mine certainly feels stout and strong...;-)

Both work well, I prefer the 25 or Umnumzaan for work and the 21 for everything else.
The 25 is a little beefier than the 21, but not by much. Using the 25 for work just gives me a warm fuzzy feeling and I'm not afraid to punish it.

Thanks. And another question. Seems like there are more UG's in small Sebenzas than the large version. Truth or Fiction?...;-)

Can't say I've seen more small UG's, it appears, more come up on the exchange that are smalls as opposed to the larges. IMO, folks don't want to let go of the larges. When I go looking at some of the dealers for CRK, they have pretty close to the same amount in UG large and smalls.
Go look at Lone_Wolf's collection, I think she has quite a few larges.

Thanks again. I have looked at her collection many times. So very impressive. I collect mainly Busses, but always looking for somewhere else to spend even more money. Looks like I found it!...;-)

Received my 21 yesterday. Can see the subtle differences in the two blade profiles. Thought I would like the 21 a bit less than my first user Seb - the 25. Not the case. Appreciate the 21's thinner handle; lighter weight; and better balance. Twenty Five still a heavier duty folder, and will carry them both (at different times!)...;-)

I'm the only one in the US without a digital camera OR a smart phone! One of these days. Please observe Ajack60's photo's above. I also Googled Chris Reeve Sebenza 21 and Sebenza 25 and a whole host of images poured forth...;-)

No, you're one of the last two!! I also don't have (and still have never operated) either a digital camera or a smart phone, much less posted any photos to a thread. :)

Jim

Thanks, Jim. I am posting this from my Nexus 7 tablet however, so have that WiFi technology dialed in...;-)
