Newbee question on Spyderco blade markings ...

Hi All, Getting more Spyderco knives and noticed that some have a marking on the blade and some don't. The first one I noticed it on was the Stretch and it looked almost like a SM so I thought of Sal. Now I have a Manix 2 and it has kind of a a 'w' with an arrow on it. My Pacific Salt is without any marking other than the standard place of manufacture and steel. So what's the story?

Those are Sal and Eric's unique sigs on the blades. You were on the right track.

Hi All, I bought recently a Spyderco Stretch FRN VG10 and I expected that the "SPYDERCO VG10" and "SEKI-CITY JAPAN" to be stamp marked (like in all VG10 Spyderco's blades) but they look like acid scratch...

I see on your Stretch that the letters are also not stamped marked...

Did Spyderco change the marking style? If any of you know something about... Thanks!
