Hi . I am new here and also new to kydex sheath making. I planning on grinding my own knives and making kydex sheaths. I may also try my hand at holsters for a few friends of mine. Do you more experienced members recommend a good quality rivet/eyelet setter and a supplier of good quality rivets, Chicago screws etc.? I have read mixed reviews on knifekits quality.

Thanks in advance

If you're looking for dies, I like the US Knifemaker ones. The press they sell is better quality than the one KK currently sells as well in my personal opinion (I have both). The dies will also fit a Tandy hand press and similar or you could just drill your own arbor press or whatever.

As for eyelets, you should be fine with any of the common suppliers. I tend to get mine from KnifeKits as I like the finish on the black ones. I get my chicago screws from IF (mentioned above) for a similar reason.
