looking to purchase a kuk first time buyer. I work with ole lizzard bone he suggest getting a WW II, M43 or a Ganga ram special. I am looking for a vercitle knife that can be used in the field for wood chopping and also small work like brush clearing or shaving. Any advice welcome remember I am a newb

Wecome aboard, WW2, GRS, BAS, they will all make you happy, lots of wood chopping....the WW2, general purpose....perhaps a BAS or BGRS. Now you have to think about size and weight

I like the WWII for all-around use...it's not a pointy one as some prefer, but then again, it's fairly non-threatening.
