Newbie 110 questions

1.) Is or ever was the 110 offered with phenolic handles?
2.) Are all 110's made in the USA, or are only the custom 110's made in America? ( Are the customs made in America? )
3.) will brass cleaner affect wooden or antler handles? How is this minimized?
 
There was a 50 piece Special Project last year that was made of linen free Micarta which is phenolic, I believe. All #110s are made in the USA and always have been but many fakes are made over seas. Brass cleaner should not affect any inlay material that I know of if used in small quantities and buffed off in a short period of time.
 
as far as i know no phenolic handles on the 110
all 110's are us made (except for the clones and copies)
i dont think the brasso would hurt the scales but just dont use it on them :D
 
I use Mother's Mag Wheel and Aluminum polish on my brass bolsters. No problems with the wood inserts and the polish keeps my brass looking good longer.
