I'm thinking of buying a selection of knives to complement my firearms collection.

I was just wondering which blades would you folks recommend?

As for firearms I currently have:

Sig P226 9mm
Sig P220 45acp
Les Baer Thunder Ranch Special
Sig P210-6
Sig P232SL
Keltec P32
Bushmaster AR15
Benelli Nova

As for knives I currently have:

Kershaw Blackout
Kershaw Scallion
Kershaw Vapor
Leatherman Super Tool
Victorinox Craftsman knife

Welcome to BF.

Nice selection of firearms and knives.

I'd start looking at custom makers to complement those firearms.

I like Lightfoot fixed and Mayo's folders, but there is a whole world of customs out there. Go for it!

Does "Siggie" stand for "Sig Arms"

You do not own an H&K 40 cal and have never been confronted by a BG with a Spydrerco Civilian have you?

Do you like Iced Sapphire?

You never lost an E,merson "six" or a Panerai at the Gym Siggie, did you?

Ok, just asking!!!!:p :p ;)

Oooohhh, a Thunder Ranch...nice one!

I agree, go custom!

Strider and Mad Dog come to mind...another good one for someone transitioning over from guns is the Crawford Wortac...the handle is designed to be used as an impact weapon, allow for quick transition into multiple grips, and serve as a natural "pistol grip" for those accustomed to guns.

If you literally want a pistol grip, try the Wilson 1911 grip knife using an actual Wilson Combat grip (the company is owned by Ryan Wilson's uncle).

Come on, Ira, grow up. He hasn't done anything wrong.

Siggie,

There's a group that's devoted to just this sort of thing that might be able to help you out. It has been requested that members not advertise it on this forum, but if you email me, I'll hook you up.

Glad to see another knife knut joining the forum fold!
