Newbie Guide?

Sorry if this has already been covered, but my searching for info is not going so well. I am new to forums in general and I am uneducated as to some of the "lingo" used around here. Certain abbreviations I have figured out using common sense, but terms like "trolling" and "spamming" and others are foreign to me. I know they are bad things but I don't know what they are. So my main question is: Is there a link to some kind of newbie guide floating around here to educate clueless people like me? Any info would be appreciated. This site is great and has helped me out in many ways. I would just like to be on the same page as most people here.

Go to www.google.com and type in

define: trolling

You must type the : after define.

You can search for newbie guides, too; you'll find plenty of them.

Spamming is placing unasked/unwanted adds for merchandise or services in forums.

Trolling is ........well, Phil explains it better than I ever could.

Thanks Mike,
I read the martialist. That artical was kind of like an abnormal psych class. You keep thinking "Where do I fall in ?" It was helpfull and gives perspective. It is a shame that those type of people live life on the computer.
