I want to make my own design, but have neither the time nor equipment to do so just yet.

Do any of you fine members ever make a blade on request for someone else to finish out and put on the furniture?

If so, do I buy the steel and send it with my pattern? Rough ground and heat treated, etc, etc?

I was really hoping for something a little more solid.
