Newbie help

Howdy, been a lurker for awhile, a am a recent victim of HIKV. I do have a question I've not been able to find an answer to. Is there a list of the commonly used abbreviations here? I've figured some out, but one that has me stumped is BDC. If there isn't a list, can one be put together to help us newbies feel a little more at home?

Welcome and enjoy your stay! I'm a relative newibe too, but I think I can help you out with some of the abbreviations. I'm sure some of the longer-standing members here can fill in any blanks...

BDC = Baby Dui Chirra
AK = Ang Khoa
CAK = Chiruwa Ang Khola
GRS = Ganga Ram Special
BGRS = Baby Ganga Ram Special
BGRS-V = Baby Ganga Ram Special - Village fit and finish
YCS - Yvsa Cherokee Special

Chiruwa as in CAK=full tang (as compared to most of the others which are stick/hidden tangs)

I thought BDC meant Bura Dui Chirra, as opposed to the true Dui Chirra which is a substantially larger khukuri which comes with more accessories than the standard karda/chakma combo.

i learned it as bdc meant buras dui chirra or daily carry since there are at least 3 sizes they come in(10,14,and18 inch). a dui chirra without the b is a different beast.
