Hello all! I'm brand-new to this forum, but share an interest in knives. I do have a question or two that you might be able to help me out with.

I have a Gerber MKII Survival knife that I purchased new in 1977. I was an Airbrone Ranger, and bought the knife when I got out.

The knife is as new. It has never been used, but was carried in it's sheath for about a week many years ago. I still have the factory box for it was well. Both knife and sheath are black. Knife is 100% and sheath is approx. 97% condition (has small cosmetic scratch on it).

Serial # of knife is 063800. I plan on selling the knife and would like to know what a fair price would be? The leather leg tie on the sheath has never been untied!

Thanks for you help!!

expect a little hazing and some grief, but overall, we're all a cool bunch of guys (and girls) with a predeliction for playing with cool blades and love to have new members.

Welcome aboard.
Most of us are rather open with help and opinions.

If you want to get a feel for most of the crew here, stop by both the community and Whine & Cheese forums.

Although there are about 15,000 users, only about 150-200 of us are regulars.

Holy smokes that use to be my screen name when I first joined BF.
Good choice!:D
I would buy that knife from you but I just bought a Mad Dog ATAK and have a Strider SnG enroute so that officially makes me broke.

"AIRBORNE"

Sorry, I can´t give you any onformation concerning the knife price, but I too want to say welcome!

I´d expand it to about 1000 regulars. I mean, you often find around 200 or more members browsing the board at the same time.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome. Although I'm new to this forum, I'm an old hand on others.

I've been known to "stir it up" once in a while. I'm into firearms in a big way, so if you all have any questions, feel free to "fire away"!

I hope to post here often and make a name for myself. I'm getting into the blade thing, and want to learn all that I can!

Anyway....Thanks again!!
