Newbie! Hints about DoDo and shops in AZ

Hi all, pleased to join the forum and to meet you.

I've decided to buy a DoDo during a July travel to Arizona; I had a look to the forum threads and it seems that in AZ I'm allowed to carry it in my pocket and that when I'll flight back to Italy I can just put it in my checked baggage without warning about it, is that correct?
I've also seen that removing the clip (I'm not going to use it) could be a little difficult because of the screws, so I think that I'm asking it to the shop clerk and about that: could you suggest me a shop in Chandler or near it to buy my DoDo? I have seen the dealer list on the Spyderco website, but I'd like to have your hints as customers..

There is a "Knife Shop" in Fiesta Mall in Mesa, AZ. Thats about 10-12 minutes from Chandler. They have a good selection of knives, probably have a Dodo. But, you will pay full retail price, more than likely.

It is perfectly legal to carry it in AZ. You should be able to pack it in your checked luggage, on the U.S. end, no problem. I don't know about the Italian laws.
