Newbie Intro

Okay I've been lurking long enough! I figured it's time to stop and say hello.

My name is Justin. You can call me that, TW, t-wood, or whatever's convenient at the moment...

I like knives (duh) with a bushcraft/ survival interest. Some like show dogs but I like the working dogs! I'm at the place to where if it doesnt get dirt on it, I don't keep it.

My favorite Becker that I've owned was.... The Bk2. I ended up gifting it to a dear friend of mine recently. (I have a problem of giving knives away to those who lack a descent blade.) life's to short for a crappy knife. So I'm in the market for another Becket. (think I'm gonna wait for the BK10, yay.)

I don't know if I should put this but I joined BF just for this sub forum.

I hope to bring something to the campfire, post lots of pics, Eventually become a Beckerhead, and one day meet Mr. Eathan Becker.

Welcome! To me there is no such thing as a Becker Newbie, just good people that love great knives... Or is it great people that love good knives? No I think I got it right the first time :D

I'm right outside of the Talladega/ Cheaha Mtn Area. I've never made blade show but this year ive made plans to be there. Maybe I can see you all there.

You know I've just been giving you heat for the double tap intro, right? :D

I grew up in those parts and still have family down that way.
We were just up on Cheaha last time we visited, and I looked into some trails to hike.
I scouted the car camp sites for a family trip this spring too.
