Just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself. My name is Bert, I've read these forums a lot in the past when looking to make new purchases. I've had several Beckers over the years and they tend to be my favorite brand. I have blades from other companies too, but my Beckers get the most use. Great tool, great price, and from the youtube vids I have seen Mr. Becker seems like a nice guy as well. Being a veteran, I am partial to the KaBar name and am glad to see they teamed up with Becker knives.

Welcome to the forum, and thank you for your service.

Welcome to the asylum. There is no escape. You will now spend all your money on knives.

Too late, lol. I used to spend all my money on firearms until I discovered knives. Less than $100 will get you a killer knife and I can play with them in my backyard!

Welcome. Tie up your goat outside and come sit a spell.

Welcome BigBert!
Good to have you here.
Throw up some pics of those Beckers! We must have pics! :D

Thanks man, that was one of my earlier ones. That's a BK9.

Everyone raves about the BK9. I had a CS Trailmaster at one time, it was a massive chunk of steel and too clumsy for my use. I have been thinking about giving the big knives another try at some point.

Did you carry a KaBar in the service. I carried a British Commando Knife when I was young and lost it in the woods at Camp Drum, NY:eek: When I got older I carried the BK77 on combat tours.

welcome and thank you for your service!! and why cant he bring the goat inside? lol

You'll love the BK9.

Welcome and thank you for your service. I always appreciate new blood around here and even more so when they bring real world experience to the table.
If you have any questions about Becker knife specs check the sticky at the top of the page. Bladite put together a great reference for us.
And remember - pics or it didn't happen, and you can't not have a 9!:D

Thanks for all the gracious welcomes. I just looked up how to become a Beckerhead- I need to get working on it.
