Newbie looking for help to ID older Imperial knife..

I got this knife when my father passed away and I was wondering how old it is. I couldn't find much about Imperial on the web as far as knife ID'ing. If anyone knows anything about this knife or a web address where I can find out it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Here are some pics, it's stamped Imperial Prov. R.I. with USA written vertically to the right.

Sorry must of been a problem on my end the pics showed up just fine, does it say anything else?
 
IT is Imperials version of the 144L Hunters Pride.Use the search function under H-15 to find more information.Arnold
 
Thank you for the help. I posted there after reading the posts, hopefully someone knows an estimate on age. I'll keep trying
