First i want to apologize for what I’m about to share cause it’s gonna be pretty infuriating.
I need help🙏
I just bought the mora bushcraft 12491 and I’m pretty sure i ruined it by trying to sharpen it myself with the wrong grit, but i did manage to get it sharp enough as i wanted to,
I want to know how bad my knife condition is in a scale from 1-10 , Please tell me is there a way to save the knife if it’s really bad,
Also, do a proper whetstone can fix the damage? Thanks!

S’okay, you scratched your blade up. But, you got it sharp. So what’s the problem?

Cowboys and soldiers, truckers and carpenters, we’ve all been cutting stuff with ugly blades for decades. You only hurt the pretty, not the function. Buy another one and keep it pretty for Saturday nights.

Now if you put it on a bench grinder and ruined the edge temper, then you’d have somethin to cry about. Even that can be fixed, just not easily.

Now that you got some character on it, go out and dull it up again.
