I jusy got my first custom knife, a slipjoint made to my specifications by Gene Wiseman. Outstanding! While I have thoroughly enjoyed knives from fine companies like BM and Spyderco for years, this was in a different league entirely.
So I'm hooked. Unfortunately my wallet isn't, but I'm patient. For my next knife, I'm thinking of a linerlock or framelock, G-10, 4" to 4 1/4" closed, with a wharncliffe or clippoint blade and a clip. If at all possible, $400 or less.
So while I'm waiting, whose work should I be checking out?
