Churipen here, from the Badlands of Australia. I just bought an axe for Oz$5- labelled Plumb-USA, nice looking axe, needed a clean and sharpen ...BUT...
got it home and started clean-up, only to find a hairline crack right through the top of the axe head. Question is, can I weld this crack and safely use the axe?
