I have always been fascinated with knives and guns so i am not a newbie to the passion, just to the site. Through out my years of collecting, buying, and serving in the middle east, i have come across a wide selection of knives. None have been anything special. With that being said i hope my knife luck has changed?

I inherited 2 knives today. One is a Case 337-6"q in much better condition than 90% of what i have seen on the net. It has the origiunal sheeth i beileive, but its missing the "pommel" i think its called. Its the bottom part.

The other knife is a sweet little ideal shirt company knife. It says made in germany and it is some kind of authentic stag hdanle. It has a very sharp blade and kind of a saw type blade on the backside.

If anyone know about these items and could help me that would be great. I really want to bring the case back to life, im going to sharpen it now. I wish i knew if i could buy a replacement bottom for it.
Also is there a way i can bring the leather back to life?

Pics provided later when i make it home.

There is a maintenance and tinkering sub forum you could try in if you don't get moved there. Also there is a traditionals thread too.

Good luck, I'm just getting into slip joints myself

occasionally you can find replacement parts on ePrey, not sure where else to look.
If you have a photobucket, flickr, or other image hosting account you can post pictures pretty easily -- that will greatly assist others in helping you.
and welcome to the forums!
