Newbie needs help

Hi, all.

As a very recent "joinee" to BF, a had some questions about posting and particularly about selling. I THOUGHT I'd sent a message to the owner, but so far, it's not showing up in conversations. I dont; know if messaging works for newbies. Perhaps someone here can help?

1) Doe to some recent financial problems, have to sell some of my collection. From whgat I can see, one must be at least a gold member to do that. Correct?

2) I have a number of knives, some real vintage, some less so (20 years old), folders and fixed. Where, meaning which category, would these go in an exchange post?

Yes Gold you could sell.

Knives for sale by individual - custom, production or old timey?

One post in a for sale area a day, can relist it every two weeks, if needed.

Yes, to sell you must be a gold member or higher. As far as where to sell knives, the Exchange is divided into section for fixed blades, folders, traditional slip joints, customs, and production knives. Here is a link to the Exchange rules ---> http://www.bladeforums.com/help/exchange-rules/
 
You need a paid membership for messaging. But you can post questions for Spark in Tech Support. One of us might answer before he sees it.
