Yes, I'm a newbie here but an old newbie, retired with too much time on my hands and a weak search fu game. I wish there was a search engine for knives where we could type in the blade shape, size and material(s) and results show where we could find similar knives. This forum may be as close as we can get to that search engine.
I like drop points with a hollow grind, sm recurve similar to Ken Onions based Zero Tolerance 0350(shown below) but in a 5"+- fixed blade, V4, Vanadis8, Magnacut, M4 : ENTER
Kershaw would be the first stop, ZT the second, Off Grid because they have copied the blade design but no luck. ETA Off Grid has a fixed blade made from D2 which may be as close as I can get. I am not a collector, just a retired engineer looking for a knife to fill a role. Have any of you seen such a knife in your travels? Thanks in advance.

Thanks, I tried that a few weeks ago and it lead me to Off Grid(D2), WhiteRiver GTi(35VN) and Dawson Knives which was Magnacut and I purchased but still not quite what I want. So far the Dawson Marauder is as close as I have found.
Make this a drop point made of Vanadis8 or Magnacut, maybe M4 and I'd be happy.

Very hard to find Van8 in a production knife. I think many of us have done some version of this search.

I think your best option will be to contact one of the many custom makers who showcase their work here (as has been suggested).
