Hi Guys
I am new on this forum and for the past few have just been reading up on stuff. This place seems to have so much useful info and is such a supportive community (esp when it comes to encouraging each other to blow more $$) that its awesome!
After reading through I figured I should get me some of the knives that are so talked about to see what the fuss is about.
So I've now pulled the trigger on a ESEE HEST and a Fallkniven F1 with Black micarta handles. I was gonna buy just one knife but I convinced the gf that the HEST is for her!!
They should be here by the end of next week and I can't wait.
Ok so now my questions:
Is the F1 with micarta handles different from the regular F1 in dimensions? I ask because my F1 wont come with any sheath and I need to get one.
Also does the 'semi custom' F1 actually differ from the Krayton one?
Which brings me to my second Q: Where can I get a good sheath (readily available without waiting because I'm gonna have no way to carry the knife)
Leather or kydex or a combo would be cool with firesteel loops n whatnot ofcourse!
Also, since I don't have a lot of experience with these knives, I've only carried khukris since I was a kid. Were these (hest and f1) good choices? (Just say yes)
