I'm fairly new to the art of sharpening, and wanted to know what most people do.
I know that with a scandi grind, it's just one bevel, so you sharpen that, and tada. What about sabre grinds, where it's a bevel from midway up the blade, all the way down, and then a micro bevel for the edge.
My question, is whether you sharpen all bevels, or just the one that's forming the edge? I noticed that some people grind both bevels (saw a couple Becker BK2s that were sharpened from the main bevel, and also the micro bevel) -- or maybe I was just mistaken, and they turned it into a convex **shrug**.
Any advice/help with this would be greatly appreciated.
