Hi all. New to this forum. But I am super excited because I won an auction for a HHFSH and ordered a NMSFNO with fat black g10 scales from Garth. All today!

So here is my question. The knife I won has the FSH logo on it. The other one for sale has "busse" etched perpendicular on the blade. What do the different etchings mean?

The Busse markings have varied over time and from blade to blade, you may see "BUSSE" ... "Busse Combat" (along with the dog tag image), "Busse Custom Shop" and Sterile blades that are all correct. even now there are differences in the markings on production blades.

Can't wait to see that HHFSH. What part of Indiana are you from??
 
I will post pics when they arrive. The hhfsh has great ghost scales with satin blade. The nmsfno from Garth will be satin with black g10. I could not decide so I got both. Lol.
I'm near south bend.
 
Congrats on your blades! We will def have to see some pictures of these bad boys :D
 
Congrats and I can't wait for pics. I hope the Hog doesn't bite too hard and if it does I hope you have the find to recover. I'm 8 deep since January +1 for my brother. He has 3 others too since then. :) plus, I'm eyeing a few now.

Welcome to the family and congrats on some great knives. :thumbup: I'm sure there are plenty of us who are anxiously awaiting pictures of how you put your new knives to use.

Thanks for all the nice comments. Pics soon to follow. Not sure of the delivery of my custom shop order, but it will be worth it! Prolly "2 weeks" lol I've been doing a lot of reading
