Howdy, one and all!
I just placed an order for my first Fiddleback knife. As I am new to these parts, I do have a question or two...
1. How are we contacted when knives are ready, or if the maker has a question? I cannot use the email services here on blade, as I am a verizon account, and the two do not mix.
I had problems with this when I once tried to order a couple of knives from Mr. Gossman, I ended up not getting the knives as a result.

2. Is this forum the best way to communicate with the maker?

Thanks a lot!
Rooikat

PS_ I guess I am a child, as proven by my spelling...

Andy is absolutely awesome to deal with. He checks this board all the time. To contact him, just click the contact info 411 sticky at the top of the forum. That'll give you his information.

You might not need to contact him too much off of the board, actually. Pretty much everything short of the paypal transfer probably could have been discussed and handled in the various threads he has for the knives.

You won't be sorry. Working with Andy has been a blast. The service is worth the price alone...but, man oh man, once you hold one of his handles....you'll be hooked:thumbup:

Thanks for the quick reply!

It was his handles that hooked me. Friggin' works of art.

I have a lot of knives, a lot of makers, but nothing looks quite like his layered handles do. I cannot wait to see one in person.
I have been shadowing this forum, hoping and waiting for another offering. I am glad I made it in.

When your knife is ready I will post pics, and call you out by your username. If you don't respond to the thread within a day or so, I'll e-mail you (please send me your e-mail Rookat).

Again, I'm full time now, so contact me whenever you feel necessary.
