Everyone please bear with me, I'm knew to collecting and this forum. Can someone please explain the lingo? I'm pretty sure the EDC is every day carry, and a safe queen is self-explanatory, but what is "sheeple"? and "ferumite" or "forumite"? Also, I say a Craftsman stockman for sale for $32.00. Good deal? Your patience is appreciated.

Most certainly EDC is Every Day Carry (or derivitives like EDW for your Every Day Watch).

Safe Queen, you got it.

Sheeple: It's a cross breed between real thinking humans and sheep. The resulting animal seems to have substantially less spine than a normal human and most of the common sense has been bread out as well, but they look remarkably like real humans.

Forumite: Person who haunts these forums.

Ferumite: Drunk Forumite (just guessing on this one).

Welcome.

Webster's Collegiate Dictionary applies the term "sheep" as being :
"Those easily lead or docile in character.." Sheeple being literally
"human-sheep"(i.e. also timid, cowardly ;)) Other terms you may see
used are :

IMO : In My Opinion

IMHO : In My Humble Opinion

BTW : By The Way

OBTW : Oh, By The Way ( my creation ;))

Never did "get" "Netspeak" or "forumspeak";) meself.

Welcome to the forum(s)!!!!!;)

Thanks much. I thought sheeple had something to do with spineless, politically correct, but didn't know where it came from.
