Hello all. I'm Icebreak. I was told about your forum at another forum so I lurked a little bit and liked it so I went ahead and registered. Looks like I'll be reading a lot about knives before I'll ask any questions.

Greetings, salutations and regards to all of you BladeForums members.
 
...just wait until your forum time starts to get in the way of such little things as......oh, say eating....... interacting with a wife, GF, or SO......getting to work on time......getting a decent nights sleep.....etc., etc.

Good plan. That should save you a lot of "just use the search feature" responses. Don't be afraid to ask questions though; many times an old topic that's ressurected will bring up new information or fresh insights from new forum members. There are a few, shall we say, touchy topics though. Try doing a search for "Mad Dog" in the General Archive if you want some interesting reading. Have fun and once again, welcome!

Well, I suppose those things are important. I feel like I need to know more about knives as they are such an important item to own, maintain and operate correctly. Luckily, GF is pretty understanding.

I visited your state this spring. Cinncinnati was much nicer than I expected...really a terrific city. My visit included a few treks from Akron to Columbus so I saw quite a bit of your stomping grounds. The weather was perfect and the countryside was very appealing. Please keep your winters.
