Hello all, been reading the forums for a little bit now, and finally signed up today. I've been toying with the idea of buying something decent for my first edc for a few months, and went with the sere 2000 after a friends recommendation and some other research.
Ummmm...I haven't received it yet, and I'm already looking at other knives? Seems like this is going to be a fun lil addiction. :D
Thanks for all the great info so far, expect a TON of newbie questions, as my experience with live blades is very limited.

Ask away, somebody will know the answer, and if they don't we'll make it up as we go along. ;)

Welcome! Excellent first choice. That is a great knife. Sits real low in your pocket, excellent lock up and a very smooth action. There are a lot of fans of that knife on this site, myself included.
Enjoy your new found money pit, I mean hobby :)

John...

Damolk, Welcome, you need another one already ! , gosh you do have it pretty bad, all of us guys here know how to control our knife buying impulses, we just buy several at one time, and that usually last us for a few days . .

Welcome to the forums.
We were all newbies at one time or another. Some of us were just further in the past......

Welcome Damolk!

You're really going to enjoy your SERE 2000 I predict! Mine is on my left front pocket rotation EDC list due to the ambi-studs. Enjoy!!

Hello Damolk,

That Sere 2000 gets rave reviews. You picked one of the best.

Welcome to the forums. I hope you are not into saving money, because us guys here spend our leisure time thinking about why we need to buy more knives. The hard part is picking which one to buy next.

Welcome to the forum Demolk. Great choice in the Sere 2000. One of the best production folders around.
