Newbie sharpening a Chef's knife ?

I have a Spyderco Sharpmaker. And I have a Shun Classic Chef's knife. Should I sharpen the Shun on the on the sharpmaker using the 15 degree stone? Or is there a better way to keep that 16 degree angle of the Shun?
 
The 15 degrees setting will work great if you use just the flat sides (no corners) and don't press too hard.
