Well, I went and did it. I payed $500 for a standard FBM with Kydex sheath. So how bad did I get skinned?

Thanks. I had to pay shipping, too. I've got a house full of big bowies and choppers, but no Busses. That unusual "stepped" looking blade and the ergonomic shape of the handle just spoke to me. The sheath is supposed to be 1/8" thick kydex.

Well they were $397 retail, with shipping it was a little over $400. A good Kydex sheath for the FBM will easily put you at least into the upper $400's for the whole package, so looks like you did just fine...

Keep up your INFI buying ways and your new name will be Horn HOG. You gotta earn that status though :D

Congrats and welcome to the club! Like already said before, beat that baby!!

I feel even better about it. Where should I go to get a really good picture of a standard FBM?

Heh-heh, the FBM Compilation link should have just about every combo, mercmaster dug up the cool link! Congrats, they ROCK!:thumbup: :D

Congrats Horn Dog! Seems like we've been following each other on this whole knife progression. First we got RTAK II's, then we both got turned on to Scrapyard and picked up Dogfathers, and now we've both gotten our hands on CGFBM's. Anyways, you're the man!

Thanks for the nice pics, Mercmaster. They are great.

Diceman: See Synchronicity, An Acausal Connecting Principle, by C.G. Jung (circa 1951).

I went ahead and read a summary of what "synchronicity" is - very interesting - thanks for the info HD.

You guys are gonna need to find More stuff to chop now!

Synchronicity.. i used to have that album! -The Police (circa the '80s)
