FIRST TIME POSTING. USUALLY DON'T PARTICIPATE IN THIS TYPE OF VENUE...BUT, I AM A HAPPY OWNER OF A REKAT SIFU. LIKED IT SO MUCH I HAVE ANOTHER ONE ON BACK ORDER. LOVE MY EMERSON COMMANDERS BUT, THE SIFU IS JUST UNREAL...
 
they are #1 in my book too - had to send mine in - probs w/lock - hopefully back next week - feel naked w/out it - having to make do now w/a spyderco matriarch and a kasper/crawford folder - sucks cause usually only been carrying 1 - but welcome to the club the REKAT SIFU RULES IMHO........

READ ABOUT YOUR PROBLEM, TOUGH BREAK.
I GOT A KFF AND SOME SPYDERCOs TOO BUT, I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN IT'S NOT THE SAME. I STILL CARRY A EMERSON COMMANDER BUT, I COULD DO MORE DAMAGE AND FASTER W/ MY REKAT D2 SIFU...

And if you miss using the Emerson Wave too much think about getting one of Mike Sastre's Concealex belt sheathes for your Sifu. He told me how to do an intertial opening draw that is every bit as fast as drawing my Waved Commander. The only difference is at what point in the draw the blade deploys. Both draws end with the blade out and in the "ready" position.

is yours a grooved or smooth version - i ask because to make a smooth sheath mike needs a smooth knife to mold it from - he said he was gonna make some extra ones the next time someone sent him a SIFU smooth - i want 1 too, but i'm not gonna send that knife off again once i get it back LOL - anyway i love them too, #1 fighter around, IMHO, as i guess i've stated 110 times LOL - i think the people on the spydie forum hate me (hell i've got more spydies than anything) for continuing to argue about the advantages of the civvy/mat style over the SIFU - i say there are none, and ALL of them disagree LOL - oh well all about fun anyway lol
