I decided that I needed a knife for back-up to my 9mm. Chose a Smith & Wesson S.W.A.T. First Millenium Run 3000 w/ serrated blade made by Taylor Cutlery. Opens easily w/ 1 hand and feels rock solid in my hand. Any opinions?

Is this an automatic you're talking about? I just got the 1000 today. I like it. But if it feels "rock solid" to you, that's the most important thing. On mine, the coating is a little slippery, and this might be a problem because you're hands are probably going to sweat in a tense situation (mine sure do). Not sure if you have the same coating, though

Welcome to the Forums! If the knife feels good to you, then that's all you need to know. But if you're like me, joining BF will just lead to knives that feel better, and better, and ever better than before. Pretty soon you're broke. Oh, well. There are far more expensive and destructive habits. See ya around.
