Hello there!

This is my first post. This is a great forum with lots of knowlegeable people. I finally bought my first Spyderco a Native in SS with VG-10 steel. Did I do good for $58 (I know that Walmart have the $40 one but I wanted the SS). So far the locked-up is good and tight when you open it. I will be using this for EDC and to tell you guys that this will not be the last. I am officially no longer a C&R addict I have given them up now :D . I am now looking for a blade fix everyday online. I thought that I can save up money now for retirement I was wrong. Its not good to have another addiction ;)

Regards to all!

Welcome to the world of Spyderco. My first Spyderco was the Military. I was not let down by my Native ever. And now I am eagerly awaiting my Waved Delica.

I have a Native too, it's a lot of knife in a small package..... I was eye-balling the Delica's and Enduras the other night at Gander Mountain, but I wasn't sure if they were the newest versions of those models.

Do you mean curio and relics ( for C&R)? If you do , you only think you're cured. I thought I was too until I saw a brand new Serb Mauser a few months back.

You just have to tease me don't you :) so far so good its been 4 months now for me without any C&R purchase except ammo. Knives for now I hope. Yeah the Delica, Enduras, Viele, Poliwag and Manix are in my list also. Regards!

Blur, I too am a new Spydie owner this week. My first was a regular combo edge Native 3. This is my new weekend EDC. A few days ago I got a Delica S/S plain edge for weekday carry. It works better in the office enviroment and doesn't scare the sheeple too much. I tell ya' the Delica is so sweet!. Its rock solid and elegant. Oh yeah, and hair poppin' sharp.

I am hooked on Spydies for life!!!!

Check out a Spyderco Civilian...I'm not a huge Spyderco fan *puts on kevlar* but the Civilian is one nasty nasty blade.

Welcome to your new addiction. I started saying that I only wanted 2 knives a Delica and an Endura.

I now own 4 Delicas (Love the Wave), 2 Enduras, Native III, Cricket, Rescue, Caly Jr, Manix, Mini-Manix on order, Military, Salt 1, and a Pacific Salt.

Funny thing is that I almost always end up with a Delica or a Native in my pocket. They are the best EDC knives in my opinion. Lately I have been carrying a Native in RF pocket and a SE Delica in my waistband. - Great setup - You don't even notice them.

I might get the Native III and been looking on the Delica and Endura Wave too. I might get a second job so that I can support my new addiction. Regards

Join the club.

And get a Paramilitary, its an awesome knife. I love the compression lock.

Where can i get the Native SS with VG10? My searches only turned up SS with AUS10...

i've got a native in the mail... work carry is the military, but i'd like to get the paramilitary to try it out.
also love the waved delica for EDC..

wecome to the wonderful world of knife addiction, it's worse than c&r because you can get a fix anywhere. spydercos are exc knives, you need to try a frn handled one, much lighter and unless you're using it to jack up your truck you'll not do any damage. later, ahgar
oh and by the way c&r is a lot like herpes, once you're infected you'll always suffer from it, you may think you're well but then something will pop up like some weird variant of an smle or mauser. just relax and enjoy it.

I am a newbie also, and am finding a lot of like-minded weapon fiends on here. I have been stuck on Benchmade forever but Spyderco has quickly become a close second. Spyderco started a lot of the innovations that we now expect from knives. I currently own a Spyderco Endura, but find it's a bit big and maybe a tad flimsy in the handle. I want the Native and a Military or maybe a Manix.
