Newby question

It is Victorinox's name for their aluminum handled Swiss army knives. Alox is a comination of aluminum and the French word for non-rusting "inoxable"(or something like that) - hence Alox. Some models have textured handles, some smooth.

I didn't know there were smooth Alox knives. Are these current production or discontinued models?
 
There are some current smooth Alox Victorinox models. Run a ebay search for:

swiss army knife alox

and you'll see most of the variations.
