Other than a name change are there any differences between the RAT knives and ESEE knives?

I believe that the change was related to a partnership or some such with Rowan (Rowen? I digress) and a falling out with Ontario.
Don't quote me on that.

few changes.
RAT designed for ontario.
the RAT did thier own thing, blades produced by Rowen.
then the confusion led to changeing the name to ESEE, made by Rowen.

RC-x and saying Rowen, is basically the same as ESSE-x made by rowen.
If it says RAT on the tang, the other side says Ontario.

I'm too drunk to be of more help.

That's because ESEE sounds better than RAT

That's because ESEE sounds better than RAT

RAT RC-series knives (RC-4, RC-6, etc) and the ESEE-3, ESEE-6, etc. are the same knives just the name changed from RAT Cutlery to ESEE Knives.

Same great blades, great warranty and great customer service.

ESSERAT sounds better than both. But you would not make as much money. I wish you guys didn't change your name just to make more money, lol.

Uh oh, someone took your post serious, Mike. :D

No, the rules are you have to sell them all in the exchange for a dime on the dollar. ;)

Than I will just keep them but scratch off the logo. Don't ban me! I like the coating. And I never throw my knives and want you to know how cool it was.:foot:
