Newby -- what happened, did I do something wrong?

I am fairly new here, and tried my first sale in the "Fixed blades, individual" forum.
I edited the post with a 5th photo about 30 minutes later.
Now the thread is entirely gone.

Did I do something wrong here that caused my thread to be deleted.

I was trying to sell Creely mako and Bark River bushcraft scout.

Sorry if I did something. I am trying to follow the rules, and would appreciate your feedback from the moderators to me.

Disregard.. didn't see you are a gold member. That sale should've been fine.

Sometimes posts get booted by software for a manual review. If everything is kosher it should be approved and back up at some point I’d say. Editing the post probably caused the software to flag it.
 
You'll have to wait until one of the mods chimes in bc they are the only ones who can see what the thread said or didn't say. I ***think*** that normally when someone has a thread deleted, there is usually an PM to the poster indicating what was wrong as well.
 
Thanks for the comments. I am learning here with my first thread in the marketplace individuals area.

When I edited the post, I did see it say something about moderator to review. Then a little bit later, the thread was gone.

I suppose I could have replied to my own thread instead of editing it. Maybe that would have been better.

I will be patient and see how it plays out. I have multiple knives to offer for sale, and I want to follow all rules and be a positive part of the community.

Not sure honestly. Never encountered this issue as I've edited quite a few sales posts.

That being said, if it wasn't that wordy you should be able to just put it back up. Both those knives belong in individual sale/ fixed blades. You did everything right from my angle.

The thread has come back and it is there again. I don’t know what time that was.

It looks to me like when I edited the thread, the software took it down. It is back now. I think that probably a moderator reviewed it, and put it back up.

I somehow thought they might sell fast , for shipment to arrive for Christmas. That didn’t happen. No replies. I will rethink things, and I will sell these and some more knives after Christmas.

Some sellers are knocking something off the price and calling it new price. You could say Holiday sale or discount. It could get your knives another look.

Some guys don’t hop on until they get off work. Give it time. That Creely is a beaut someone will snatch it up.
