Well I think the proper thing to do is introduce myself to everyone.
I am a person who loves to work with my hands and create new and different kinds of art,I say that because Knife making has become an art form.
I live in a small town in the northwest,my wife and I moved up here about 14 yrs. ago.
I design and build custom bikes for shows and also make American Indian jewelry but my first love is still knives.
My first choice for metal is Damascus above all the rest, the varied patterns you can make is astounding and the finnished product is something to be proud of.
I am getting on in age so I have been slowing down a bit . :( being disabled puts a crimp in what I used to be able to do but I still can do things:) just in a different way.
Well this is starting to sound boring even to me so I just want to say hello to everyone and hope to be around here for a long time and learn something new and exciting.:)

Yes indeed, knifemaking is an art. Welcome aboard BF we are all knife nuts here.

Welcome,
Wendy and I have been into knives for a few years and this forum, IG,and many others have been a major source of info and encouragement.

kmpropnut,
I live in Vancouver, WA...if you live in the area, please feel free to visit and talk knives anytime...

Welcome:thumbup: ;) :D
Bikes and Knives count me in. Some how they just go along with each other. I have two bikes, a 1947 Indian Chief and 1985 HD FXST. I do all the work on my Putts.:D
If you ever get up in this area stop on by. It looks like we would have allot to talk about.

Good of you to stop by. Bikes, knives and dogs are all popular subjects on this

forum.

We all must adjust to our circumstance as we age.

If we went at it a 60 as we did at 20, we probably wouldn't last as long.

Fred
