I figure I can get him working in the shop in a couple years!

This is Xander Covington.....he was born yesterday at 7:55. 8lbs 11.5oz and tall too. Both he and my wife are perfectly healthy and everyone should be coming home on Monday.

I bet you all were wanting to see a big Bowie! :p

He looks like a winner. Congrats on the new addition and give Mom a big hug from all of us. Our little boy (Danny) is a few weeks away from his first birthday so I still remember the feeling clearly of having a little on come home. Enjoy him.

That's a fine new apprentice ye got there, Greg! Congratulations! Now you have someone to smack that hot steel when your arm wears out! :D

Congratulations to you and your wife on a fine boy. Yep, he'll be in your shop losing your tools in no time!

For you smiths with youngsters - I hope you are making toy wooden hammers and anvils you should start them young ! Welcome aboard Xander !

O boy Greg, he's just a little bundle now, take the time to play and enjoy every minute, they grow up awfully fast.

Congratulations,

Bill

Congradulations! It's a lot of fun being a Dad :) I kid you not my son's first crawl across the living room floor was to come see a knife I had in my hands. His first walk was for the same reason. Almost made me cry but I was too busy being the "Proud Daddy". Of course Momma was jealous a little. Now that he is getting bigger though I have to watch everything I say and do. Talk about a mimic. 1st words are always the ones he hears Mom and Dad use after a stubbed toe :D

Born Yesterday? ...see Greg, you could have made it to Batson's after all! JUST KIDDING!!! :D :p

Congratulations on the new addition to your family! He's adorable, and sure to make a good apprentice in a few years. :)

Greg,CONGRATULATIONS! You folks have a great looking son there, fella! I can see a glint of steel in your boy's eyes already. Yep, give momma a great big hug, too. Can you imagine being a youngster and having a knife making dad? I can't imagine it being any better than that, Greg. Especially a REAL knife maker dad such as you, fella.

Damn Greg........you make knives almost as well as you do babies!!! :D

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE COVINGTON FAMILY!!!

Well done guys......... ;)

Yeah Greg!

Wow! good lookin' kid.

Look at those eyes? Intensely studying that camera. If he could talk, he'd be able to tell you how many mega pixels, I'm sure.

God Bless you both.

Steve

Congratulations Greg. April is a good month. 26 years ago on April 7th, my son was born. I still remember that day like it wass this morning.

I'll bet you do too! :)
