  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Just received a brand new Southard today. It is beautiful, and perfect in every way. I've handled them before and finally got my own. I'm very happy with this purchase. My only question is that the lock up is sitting right at 50%, which seems slightly later than in many of the pics I've seen and the ones I've handled. I realize there can be some variation between knives and from my research it doesn't seem like there have been any issues. Has anyone else had one right out of the box at 50% and if so, has there been much if any movement? I realize I'm probably being a bit paranoid but just want to reassure myself :) I apologize for lack of pictures but am unable to attach right now.

Mine is at 50percent and have flipped it 1 million times and haven't noticed any increase.
