I bought this from someone today from a local knife trading board. Viele 2 as new in box. Sweet. I used to have an original Viele and this one seems more stiff.





 
this is a vary nice find,i notice that the VG-10 and GIN 1 steels are a little heavy compared to the newer super steels!

Yes I love it. I bought it because I already had someone willing to buy it from me and I would make a quick profit. But no I'm keeping it. I would really like to get a Peter Herbst now.
 
I have one of these that I bought new. I don't know about the experiences of others, but this knife is one of 4 or 5 smoothest that I own.
 
I had one that I got many years ago. The knife was simply awesome as far as fit and finish. What bothered me was using it. The beautiful scales were slippery and there was not even a semblance of a guard to keep my fingers from sliding forward (ouch!) in use. Nice find, though.
