This is the newest batch of sheaths. None are going out. Two are for my knives, and one for a Becker BK10 and one that just came out a dud. (Stitching on the back don't line up.:thumbdn: ) Anyway heres some pics. New edge technique learned at Knifeforums Leatherworking 101 section. The discoloration is my fault. But the smoothness/polish is best ever.

The edges do look better like that, I like that you are expanding the creative process for these the circles add a nice touch.

The circles on the small sheath are one thing I want to get opinions on. Do you guys like that tooling. I call it Beer Bubbles. I was inspired... well, you know.

Thanks Aziz.

I like the pebbled/dimpled surface on the smaller one quite a bit . More than the others .

You are right in that the sheaths edges look great .

Thanks Kevin. I like the hammered look better too, but I want to develope other patterns, and I'd rather create my own tools to do it than buy them, so...

I would think the little graffic in the upper left corner of the sheaths is your logo, I would put that on the back and not in any decrative (tooled) areas.

Andy, I think making your own tools is a great idea. You'll end up with a knife you made carried by a sheath you made with leather from a deer you hunted.

Fine work- life can be fun. Thanks for showing us.

Very nice work on all of them. I like the look of the surface on the smallest one best.

I think Buckskin would be a little weak for big knives. Maybe I should do some cow hunting eh? LOL. For the real meat lover. Can you see it? Guys stalking cows and taking pics next to the big ole steaks.

They look great Andy! That sheath for the Becker is a 100% improvement over the factory model. I like the hammer marks better as well, so maybe I should forget what we talked about huh? :D More smaller ballpeen marks gives a nice look. Whatever you come up with is fine with me. Thanks for sharing and great pics.

I see a future where PETA passes legislation requiring anyone who buys a steak to have a polaroid of the actual steer it came from.....attached to the package, I guess.

Wouldn't bother me none. Hell I'd cut my steak out of the living cow if I had to.

You could make an inner sheath of cow hide or whatever you choose and have buckskin over it . If it was stretched tight it might be fairly stain resistant . It would be better for presentation pieces .

I saw a saddle witth a buckskin stretched over it like a tight skirt . It looked just great . It really stood out .

Thanks Dave.

Kevin, I didn't send your sheath yesterday. I'll send it next week. Sorry bro.:o

Andy, your work continues to impress. It's nice to have that kind of talent. Keep up the good work.

Thanks man. PM me if you need one done.
