Just made finished this one yesterday for a customer. Been making quite a few of these lately. I call it Imperial Kodzuka "Nikkyo" which loosely translates as "Second technique" denoting the full tang, slabbed handle construction instead of the more common wrapped handle. Thanks for looking. Jason.

Jason,
You and Mooser are the main reasons I come to this forum. I love to see the cutlery you guys produce. And this piece is no exception. GORGEOUS, as usual.:D

All the best,
Mike U.

That blade is coming to me. Can't wait. I'm wriggling in excitement like a little girl. Hee hee.

Grapevine, you're a lucky man. That is a gorgeous hamon, overall just a truly beautiful knife. Are you going to be at Blade next year Jason? Or any shows in the vicinity of Augusta, GA in the next year? I can't really afford work of this level yet, but I'd love to see some of your stuff in person.

He better be at Blade next year!

Another great piece Mr. Cutter -- keep 'em coming. :D

Your comments are much, much appreciated. :D
Not to pre-empt anything but it looks like some recent changes in my day job have forced me to cut back my knifemaking somewhat. It was teasing me too. Initially I thought I was going to be able to make MORE knives. Not so, unfortunately. :(
I was hoping to widen my horizons by attending my first interstate Show this year or next year, so ambitious projects like the Blade Show seem some time away at the moment. I don't have many knives on hand in the first place.

But anything can happen ... ;) Cheers. Jason.

That about as nice as a piece of 1095 would ever want to look like! ;)

great stuff Jason, let me know when you have room on your waiting list for stuff....still keen to get something....cheers, spyken

Amazing, Jason. Simply amazing.

Remind me to get something from you in future! :)
