Greetings,
I've had and used knives throughout the years without ever really understanding what I was getting and why. Had some Spyderco's and a Microtech balisong, and most recently a Kershaw Blur that a carried for a couple years. Then I started visiting this site, which may have been a big mistake, since now I have the knife collecting bug. I started looking for a decent knife to start my real collection and also something that I could carry with me everyday. Figured I couldn't go wrong with a Emerson CQC7...so here it is, my first Emerson...
The good thing about Knife's is that they are a lot less expensive than my other addiction...watches. A hard use knife with a hard use watch, Kobold, an American Watch Company based in Pittsburgh. Kobold is trying to bring watch making back to the USA. They recently started making their own cases right here with metal mined in Pennsylvania.
