As some of you know our puppy boots was killed a few months ago. Our family was hurt very bad and we still miss him. My daughter still includes him in our bed time prayers together. My brother in laws buddy was going to take the dog to the pound cause he didn't want the responsibility of caring for the pup. So we offered to keep him. They brought him over today and my 4 year old daughter almost fainted she was so exited. We still haven't decided whether his new name will be rocky or woody. It is nice to having him around. He is just standing by the door ready to look for his old family I guess. I hope he warms up to us soon. Here he is. He is half cocker spaniel and half something else.

That picture is the definition of "puppy dog eyes". Give that poor dog a treat will you:D
Congrats on the new family member. Losing a dog is rough.

He's ADORABLE!!!!

I prefer adult dogs, but they are just SO cute at that age. Even with their little mishaps, you can't help but love them.

Yea he is a good dog and my kids are learning what Poop patrol means, as am I.

Awesome, Frank! Dogs have a special way of touching our hearts. He'll warm up to you guys in no time, especially with a little kid to play with him. We have a basset, and I agree that there looks to be basset in the mix with the big paws, tail, and floppy ears. And you can't beat that look.

Take good care of him, and he'll pay you back 1000 fold. Congrats again!

Congrats Frank, he's a cute one and has a very loyal look in his eye! I had not heard that you recently lost your other dog...I'm sorry for your loss. Dogs are special creatures and we can become very attached to them (at least I know I do.)

I missed this one Pancho , what a cutie , glad you took him . I love bassets , have had 4 of them one of my favorite dogs . They live to be clowns for your enjoyment , also , they learn through love . Had a trainer once say to a friend , you have a basset , does not need to be here , take him home and train him through love , they will learn fast .
