Newest Fighting Bowie

Here is my latest.

Blade is 9.5 inches. 5160 forged from a discarded leaf spring. It is 1/4 at the spine. The blade is handrubbed to 600 grit with the temperline visible.

The guard is nickel silver and the handle is redwood burl that I stabilized with Minwax wood hardener and a vacuum setup.

It is flat ground and very lightweight for it's size.

That blade has plenty of Bill Bagwell influences. Even the length - 9.5inches and a ?sharpened clip with a concave profile on the clip. Straight out of Bagwell's book ! If that is so, that is an excellent rendition. Keep it coming ! Jason.
