At least I think I am the newest knifemaker. Here's a few of my knives:
This is my first Damascus effort, convex ground from 1084 with Cocobolo grips
And here are a couple of somewhat earlier knives I made with convex ground 1084 and the handles are leg bones from Black Bear some of my friends and I took last year in Maine. The tang goes all the way through the bone and brass end cap where it is threaded and held in place by a brass acorn nut.
And finally, this is a design I have made several of and which I kind of like:
