Newest Member To My OPR Collection - The Shadow II

As many of you know from my many posts and from the PM's I have received asking about the One Piece Knives and what I recommend........The Shadow Line has long been my favorite. I like how heavy duty they are overall, how they have strong heavy duty points and how I personally feel they just look the best overall. My CRK collection began with the little Shadow III ( pictured in the photo with the 4 Shadows ). I acquired many OPR before I ever thought about a CRK folder. My next Shadow was the Huge Shadow I, Followed by the Shadow IV. Inbetween these I bought another Shadow I ( my gift to myself on my wedding day a few years ago...lol ) and since I liked the Shadow III so much, bought another just incase I lost it or something happened to it.... All the while never thinking the OPR would be discontinued.........Well, a few weeks ago, I happened on a Shadow II on ebay. The reserve was not met at the end of the auction. I got in contact with the seller ( a fellow knife nut ) and paid the surprisingly low reserve and in a few days, my Shadow II was at my door. Honestly, this is the first Shadow II I can remember seeing on there and on here for that matter. They must certainly be rare. Nevertheless, it was the long missing piece in my Shadow Collection. It was a beautiful day out today, so I got some of my OPR out for a photo session. They posed proudly next to eachother !!!

Nice catch. I love the Shawdow series of knives. I owned a Shadow II and carried it long ago when I was in the army. I foolishly sold it when I was in college and have been looking for another for along time.

Impressed man. I really dig the one pieces...I really wished I would of bought myself a collection of those. Really impressive family you have.
