Man I like these. The smaller version sold so I had to make a larger one for me. Its an 8" overall 3.5" 0-1 blade with coccobola handle. Nice lil' temper line. I estimate it at 58 RC. The smaller version will be a 7.25" standard unless ordered in the 6.25" version. These really feel bigger than they are.

Thanks for looking.

This shows the grip of each....

Not just a good looking temper line but good looking grain structure also, or is that just an aspect of the photo.

In any event, cool set, they look handy.

I really think that this set came out great!! They just wanted to be knives....I simply made them :D

you guys are too kind!! Time to make these with simple slab handles and no bolsters :D As far as the grain size on these I think keeping the heat down worked out. From my test samples I have the larger of the 2 feels like a 58 RC. I may keep that one.....

I like the blade size alot. Its just about the right size to do "what you werent expecting to" and not get in the way. GUess I'll keep on maken um'.

Really liked the hT on this one.

Oh yeah...I love that I can get that temper in 0-1. I need to try 1084 or similar. Why go for the 10xx series if 0-1 works? I am not interested in stainless but like the idea of 1084 damascus. What steels for a 1084 damascus? L-6 / 1084?

That is some serious belly there,I bet that could peel the hide of
a Whitetail deer, right quick:) Very unique design
