Newest Ugly Duckling - The Black Raven/Pink Hen

I just took delivery of the Black Raven/Pink Hen I posted about last week. It's in better condition than I thought. It's an American Fork and Hoe/TrueTemper era Black Raven, which makes it post-'49. It's marked 3[SUP]2[/SUP] making it 3.5#, on a 30" haft. The haft is badly damaged, it looks like some one actually chopped a piece out of it. It's a well used haft, and I'll add it to my pile of vintage used hafts for reference. I'll post updates as I get it cleaned up.

Looks like the haft started to split so they cut it to intercept the split. What is it, about 10-1/2" wide?

Great looking! We don´t have any double bits here in Germany. I like to see them.

This one seems to be in a good condition. The haft is another story, but a new one is fastly made.

It would make a great user, I´m sure!
