I snagged it because it has a great 3" ZDP-189 damascus blade, Ti Bolsters/Frame, and Linen Micarta scales, and, unusual for a William Henry, a deep carry clip (tip up carry).

That's a sweet looking knife. Tip up and deep carry clip too? Very nice :)

Thanks, guys, for the compliments and for taking time to view it. What I like is that it is very plain for a William Henry, has that traditional two bolster look, and only the Damascus stands out. A good EDC knife.

I had that same knife in my cart on a well known Internet site about a week ago!!! Great blade!

Great looking knife, and I know it's as silky smooth as a knife can be:thumbup:

Great looking WH Spearpoint! A Spearpoint is next on my WH list. I have a couple WHs (EDC 10 and a B30) with the deep carry clips. Both are great knives and for me I hardly notice either in my pocket when I carry these knives. The B30 was the knife that got me back to buying knives again. As much as I like the WH deep carry clip knives, I still enjoy the other WHs I have with the clip case as a change of pace. Tonight in fact I will have a B10 Lancet with a Damascus blade and a clip case in my pocket when we go out for dinner. Congratulations on an excellent addition to your collection!

That's pretty damn cool!

I've never tried a William Henry before but always wanted to because I think it would perform wonderfully as my secondary EDC blade.

But first I need to try a Mnandi.

Yeah, it is a nice one for sure. Not too showy like many I have seen. I'd be happy to own it :)

Excellent. Nice to meet another WH owner. Not many of us. We need our own forum.

As my signature indicates, I want to try a Mnandi myself. I did not realize I'd have two WH's with the same blade. I have this thing about owning different damascus designs on each blade. Anyway, good luck with whichever way you go.

I can testify that WH's are exquisite, and I hear from owners that Mnandis are also exceptional. The one advantage to WH's is that you can get different blade lengths and styles, but I like the variety of exotic Mnandi scales. Can't go wrong with either. But you can go broke with both :)

Ever since I got into knives I wanted a WH......maybe someday I'll get one.

I suggest you find one you like, save up the $$$ and make it happen. Absolutely great knives. IMO, you will not be disappointed. I find the fit and finish second to none and find WH knives usable at the same time.

I like WH's approach to making knives. The DVD that comes with the knives explains it and I'm pretty sure it is on youtube as well.

They basically select people from around the country/world who are the among the best at what they do and have them complete the work. Someone on here had a contract to do some engraving work on a special run of 25 knives IIRC.
